14 Smoothies To Help You Lose Weight (And They Taste Good Too)

So to feel better about yourself and change, one must not abandon the fact that changes have to be everywhere-this also includes your body.

To feel good you have to eat good. After all you are what you eat. Yet you also got to remember: Cheating is important to your diet! Yes! I said it! Let me explain. When you suddenly go on healthy foods with substantially less sugars, your body will panic and store every ounce of it that it can-meaning you won’t really lose weight. So the best solution is to alternate healthy and non-healthy foods. Now I’m not giving you an excuse to eat a box of twinkies after every smoothie. But place a 2:1 ratio where your body doesn’t freak out.

So here I will show you 14 of my personal favorite smoothies to help me burn that belly fat (and keep it off) and go the extra mile while still “ooo”ing over the sweet delight of it. (P.S just throw these bad boys in a blender and garnish-if you want- and you’re good to go! We don’t do those exhausting, fancy smoothies here.)

Country Vanilla

  • 1-2 scoops Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 1 large Frozen Banana
  • 1 tablespoon Almond Butter
  • 8-16 ounces Water

Very Berry Vanilla

  • 2 scoops Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 2 cups Frozen Mixed Berries
  • I tablespoon Walnuts
  • 1/2 cup Low-fat Plain Almond Milk Yogurt
  • 1 cup Spinach
  • 1 tablespoon Ground Flaxseed
  • 12 ounces Water

Wake Me Up Mocha Banana

  • 1 scoop Mocha Protein Powder
  • 1 large Frozen Banana
  • 1 cup Chilled Coffee
  • 1/4 cup Coconut or Almond Milk
  • 2-3 teaspoons Coconut Oil
  • 1 teaspoon maca
  • 4 + ice cubes

Apple Pie

  • 1 Sliced Cored Apple
  • 2 tablespoons of almonds
  • 1/4 cup of uncooked gluten free oats
  • Cinnamon to taste
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 12 ounces of water, milk or yogurt
  • 4+ cubes of ice

Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana

  • 1 cup of spinach
  • 1 tablespoon of dark cocoa bits or powder
  • 12 ounces of water, milk or yogurt

Tarty Mango

  • 1 cup of chopped mango
  • 1/2 cup of frozen tart cherries
  • 1/2 cup of 100% tart cherry juice
  • 1 cup of coconut water
  • 4+ cubes of ice

Piña Colada

  • 1/2 large banana
  • 1 cup of the pineapples
  • 1 tablespoon of ground flaxseed
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 2 tablespoons natural coconut flakes
  • (If using water or milk) 1/2 cup of plain or almond yogurt
  • 12 ounces of water, milk or yogurt
  • 4+ cubes of ice

Apple Banana
